COBOL Support?

Believe it or not, there are still quite a few sizable i5 COBOL shops out there. Any chance of support for them?

Although not tested, Valence should theoretically work with Cobol because the Valence service program (VVSRVWEB) can be bound. Just be a case of looking in the RPG prototype copysource and converting its COBOL equivalent.

We currently do not have a timeframe or final decision in mind for this though.

Do you still use COBOL at your shop?

I work as a consultant focusing on an application called Life/400 supplied by CSC. It is COBOL based and there are around 100 installations throughout Europe and Asia.
